ABB PM573-ETH Programmable logic controller

ABB PM573-ETH is a processor module produced by ABB for the AC500 series programmable logic controller (PLC). This module is specially designed to meet complex control and monitoring tasks in industrial automation applications. It has an Ethernet interface, 2 RS232/485 communication ports, and Fieldbus protocol (FBP) support to realize connection and communication with various industrial equipment.

Equipped with 512 kb of memory, the module efficiently processes data and executes complex programs and algorithms. It is designed with stability and reliability in industrial environments in mind, and has a variety of protection functions to automatically detect and respond to abnormal situations and protect the system from damage. In addition, the module offers a wide range of dynamically adjustable high-speed CPUs with different memory, performance and network capabilities to meet all AC500 PLC needs.

In terms of scalability, the communication interface of the PM573-ETH module can be expanded to any standard bus protocol, with one, two or four communication slots, which can be plugged into different bus interfaces. In addition, it also provides I/O modules, including analog and switching. Each I/O module can be directly plugged into the terminal board. The CPU local and substations distributed through FBP can be expanded to 7 I/O modules.
