Bently Nevada 3500/34 TMR Relay Module

The Bently Nevada 3500/34 TMR (Triple Module Redundant) Relay Module is a high-performance safety instrumented system component specifically designed to meet the highest reliability and safety requirements in applications. This module has a wide range of applications in industrial automation, process control and critical equipment protection.

The TMR relay module adopts a triple module redundancy design, which uses three independent relays to provide one relay output. This design greatly improves the reliability and safety of the system, because even if one of the relays fails, the other two relays can still work normally, ensuring the continuity and stability of the system.

This module is used with a dedicated TMR frame interface module and three monitor modules to further enhance the reliability and accuracy of the system through a 2-out-of-3 voting output method. This means that among the three monitor modules, the outputs of at least two modules need to be consistent to trigger the relay action. This voting mechanism effectively eliminates single points of failure and improves the system's fault tolerance.

In addition, each relay in the Bently Nevada 3500/34 TMR relay module contains "Alarm Drive Logic". This logic can be programmed to implement AND and OR functions to accommodate alarm inputs (warning and danger) from any monitor channel or several monitor channels in the frame. The alarm drive logic is programmed by the 3500 framework configuration software according to different application needs, allowing the module to flexibly respond to various complex monitoring needs.
