EPRO MMS3110/022-000 is a dual-channel shaft vibration transmitter, which belongs to the MMS3000 transmitter series. It is mainly used to monitor the shaft vibration of various turbomachinery, such as steam turbines, fans, blowers, compressors, etc. This transmitter can convert the input of two independent eddy current sensors into an output proportional to the amplitude.


II. Function and Principle


Conversion function: MMS3110 can convert the input of two independent eddy current sensors into two independent outputs proportional to the amplitude, or into an output proportional to the maximum value of the two input signals.

Self-test function: Built-in "self-test" circuit can monitor sensor and transmitter circuit faults. If a fault is found, the logical "OK" output state will change, and the 4-20mA output will change to 0mA.

3. Technical Specifications


Sensor Input: Accepts two independent eddy current sensor inputs with lemo connectors. Sensor models are PR6422, PR6423, PR6424 and PR6425 from Epro.


Measuring Range: The standard measuring range can be selected by toggle switch. The specific range depends on the type of sensor connected.


Power Supply: Redundant 24Vdc power supply.


Output: 0/4…20mA current output with limit detection function.
