On September 1, 2023, Huaxiang Power held a factory anniversary sports meeting with the theme of "Building Brand with Craftsmanship, Setting Sail on the Journey" to celebrate its 16th birthday. 

This is not only a festival for every Huaxiang person, but also a reward for the achievements made in the first half of the year.

In the context of the intensification of the global energy crisis and the transformation of the national energy strategy, Huaxiang people seized the opportunity to seize domestic and foreign markets, and won high recognition from customers with high-quality products and perfect services. 

With the holding of this sports meeting, Huaxiang people once again demonstrated their tenacious fighting spirit, fighting in their own arena with a healthy body, high morale and sufficient energy.

Style display

There are 7 teams participating in this sports meeting, from different workshops and departments of Huaxiang Power Supply, and they will compete in 5 group events and 8 individual events. 

With the exciting opening music, each team quickly entered the field and lined up, led by the team leader to shout slogans and show style.

Team competition

Blindfolded feeding

Each team sends 4 players to participate, two people in a group. One person is responsible for eating, and the other is responsible for feeding. Both of them need to wear blindfolds. The player in charge of feeding turns 6 times on the spot and then starts to deliver the banana accurately to the mouth of the player in charge of eating. It tests both speed and coordination, which can be said to be "full of fun".

Crab race

Each team sends out 6 players to run a relay race with hula hoops. This requires the players to hold the hula hoops with their legs apart and move forward. 

The hula hoops cannot fall or be held by hands. The naive posture makes people laugh.

Dressing relay

Each team has 8 players lined up in a row, with the person at the front helping everyone get and put on clothes, passing them to the back. When the referee blows the whistle, the team with the shortest time wins, reflecting the team's collaboration.

Flour relay

Each team has 8 participants, holding a poker card in their mouths, passing the flour in turn, and then the last player pours the flour into the plate. The team with the most flour on the plate wins. The flour is flying everywhere, and the gentle exhalation of the players may blow the flour onto the faces of the relay players, creating a very joyful atmosphere.

Tug of War

As a reserved event in every sports meeting, tug of war is the most popular and exciting competition. The 15 players in each team will compete against each other according to the lottery to determine the champion, runner-up and third place. This is a contest of strength and a collective competition.

Interesting competition

Compared with the "grand scene" of the team competition, the individual competition is much simpler and more interesting. Because of its simple form, it has a wider mass base. There are not only the well-known national ball "ping pong", but also the brain-collision "chess" and "80 points", and the folk customs of "drinking beer", "eating watermelon", "rolling dice", and "fighting finger games", which are full of highlights and wonderful.
