Functional characteristics
I/O scanning service: It provides I/O scanning services for remote I/O devices and can manage I/O devices located on remote I/O networks or device networks with remote I/O and distributed I/O devices.
Network management: It adopts a Daisy chain loop topology to manage the remote I/O network and can be connected to the main loop of the remote I/O network. It is capable of restoring the module that encountered communication interruption on the main loop within 50 milliseconds by using RSTP (Fast Spanning Tree Protocol).
Configuration and Diagnosis: It can perform diagnostic functions and configure remote I/O devices. It can configure IP parameters and I/O units on substations. Up to 31 remote I/O modules can perform this operation. It also supports hot standby functionality, allowing distributed I/O and control networks to participate in remote I/O networks.
