IS230PCAAH1B GE Core analog I/O module

The IS230PCAAH1B is a core analog I/O module manufactured and designed by General Electric (GE) as part of the Mark VIe family used in distributed control systems. This module is primarily used to provide the large amounts of analog signal I/O required for applications such as gas turbines.

Specifically, signals such as thermocouples, 4-20ma current rings, seismic, linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) excitation and input, pulse rate, and servo coil output are provided by the PCAA and associated core analog (TCAS and TCAT) terminal boards. Whether in simplex, duplex or TMR systems, the PCAA module is suitable.

The IS230PCAAH1B module consists of two application I/O boards, a terminal board, and a processor board, which are shared by all Mark VIe distributed I/O. The various boards that make up these modules do not support individual diagnosis or replacement, making the entire module the most difficult component to replace.
