IS230PCAAH1B GE Core Analog I/O Module

The IS230PCAAH1B is a core analog I/O module manufactured and designed by General Electric (GE) as part of the Mark VIe series used in distributed control systems. This module is primarily used to provide the large number of analog signal I/O required for applications such as gas turbines.

Specifically, signals such as thermocouples, 4-20ma current loops, seismic, linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) excitation and inputs, pulse rate, and servo coil outputs are provided by the PCAA and associated core analog (TCAS and TCAT) termination boards. Whether in a simplex, duplex, or TMR system, the PCAA module is applicable.

The IS230PCAAH1B module includes two application I/O boards, a termination board, and a processor board, which are all shared by all Mark VIe distributed I/O. The various boards that make up the module do not support individual diagnosis or replacement, making the entire module the least replaceable component.
