GE IS220PPRFH1A IS220PPRFH1B Primary Gateway I/O Module

The GE IS220PPRFH1A and GE IS220PPRFH1B are PROFIBUS master gateway I/O modules developed by GE under the Mark VIe family. They are both modules used to map the Mark VIe controller on an I/O Ethernet network to the I/O from the PROFIBUS slave device.

The GE IS220PPRFH1A is a PROFIBUS DPV01 class master, while the GE IS220PPRFH1B is a PROFIBUS DPV01 class master that maps the Mark VIe controller on an I/O Ethernet network to I/O from a PROFIBUS slave device. Both modules include a processor board shared by all Mark VIe distributed I/O modules and a acquisition board equipped with a COM-C PROFIBUS communication module from Hilscher GmbH.

In addition, the GE IS220PPRFH1B includes a number of other features. For example, it has a self-check routine where the processor loads application code specific to the I/O package or module type from flash when the module has finished self-checking. Its PROFIBUS gateway hardware is DPV0 Class 1 master station.
